Full job description
We’re hiring life insurance sales agents at Crowned Empire Insurance. This is a 1099 contractor role with our company (you are an independent contractor, not an employee). Pay is commission only. You will help families protect their homes and income with mortgage protection and life insurance, working virtually by phone and video.
No prior experience in sales or insurance is required. We help you get your state life insurance license and train you on our process.
What you will do
- Consult with potential and current clients to secure life insurance coverage based on their needs
- Meet virtually with families who asked for information about protecting their home and income
- Listen first, then explain coverage options clearly and help clients complete applications
- Manage sales administrative tasks such as documentation, policy processing, and accurate client records
- Attend team calls, mentorship sessions, and training (virtual or in-person)
- Obtain and maintain a state life insurance license
What you will bring
- Willingness to obtain a life insurance license (with our help)
- A strong, coachable work ethic and consistent follow-through
- High character and integrity
- Comfort talking with people about meaningful, sometimes hard topics
- Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay
- 1099 contractor; commissions only. There is no salary.
- Commissions are earned on your personal sales, when a client’s policy is placed.
